Content guidelines

Stuffnearme works because people share real, useful things to do. These guidelines keep it that way. Listings that break them may be hidden, and accounts that keep breaking them may be suspended.

Do

• Post real events, activities, groups and places that people can actually go to.
• Keep details accurate: dates, times, address, price.
• Update or delete your listing when something changes or is cancelled.
• Use your own photos, or ones you have permission to use.
• Be welcoming. Say who it's for and how to join in.

Don't post

• Spam, ads that aren't for a real local event or place, or the same listing over and over.
• Hate, harassment, threats, or anything that targets people for who they are.
• Sexual content, or anything that endangers children.
• Illegal activity, weapons sales, drugs, or scams.
• Other people's private information, like home addresses or phone numbers, without permission.
• Photos or text you don't have the rights to.
• Misleading listings, like fake events or the wrong location.
